Colorful Rice Balls

Ingredients: 2 servings

Cooked rice4 cups / 480 g / 16.9 oz
Cooking oilSmall amount

Mixed seasoning

(For fried spicy citrus paste rice ball)
S&B Spicy Citrus Paste1 tsp
Sweet sake (mirin)1/2 tsp
S&B Japanese Pepper (powder)Pinch

Chinese fried rice ball

Sweet flour paste (Chinese seasoning)1 tsp
Sesame oil1/2 tsp

Italian fried rice ball

Basil sauce2 tsp
Olive oil1/2 tsp

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients from Mixed seasoning.
  2. Divide rice into 6 portions and make 6 rice balls.
  3. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan and fry rice balls until golden brown.
  4. Spread mixed seasoning on rice balls and fry both sides for about 20 seconds each.

* Sprinkle S&B Japanese Pepper on rice ball if desired.
